Special Education Program

From time to time students need additional support and services to help them succeed in school.

Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 requires schools to allow students to participate and receive benefits from public education programs without discrimination because of the students’ disability. The school is required to make reasonable accommodations to allow students with disabilities to participate in school and school-related activities.

Dustin Marshall, Director of the Office of Special Education, oversees the 504 program and services that assist students with special needs. Please contact the Office of Special Education at: 812-752-8953 for more information.
