Here at New Tech, the staff try their hardest to keep their students
engaged in real world activities. Since New Tech High School is not
considered a traditional school, the staff aren't considered traditional
either. On the first days of attending the school, the students will
learn the value of Trust, Respect, and Responsibility and the importance
of culture at New Tech. This is where New Tech gets its reputation of
being "like family." New Tech staff will also guide the students in
learning how to answer their own questions. This will prepare the
students for the future, when they will have to be responsible for
themselves.
Throughout the year, the New Tech staff travels to
various conferences and workshops in order to become more effective
educators. Each year during the summer, the entire staff travels
together to the New Tech Network conference to learn new teaching
strategies and plan for the upcoming school year.
